Rotten posts and sagging beams
A pergola post that has rotted at the base or a beam that has started to sag gets a proper repair, not a bracket. Posts are cut back to sound timber and stirruped or replaced, beams propped and refixed, and the whole structure checked for movement before we leave.
Patio roofs and gutters
Loose or lifted patio roof sheets are refixed or replaced, flashings resealed and the patio gutters cleared and resealed so water stops finding its way onto the paving. Full re-roofs are quoted separately.
Boards, handrails and steps
Loose deck boards, wobbly handrails and soft stair treads are replaced with matching timber. Once the repairs are done a sand and oil brings the whole deck back together.
